Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Ranasinghe says that the Department of Posts will accept the official ballot papers related to the upcoming local government elections next Sunday (19).
The Deputy Postmaster General stated that the official election notices received as per the Election Commission’s order will be distributed to the voters from February 20th to March 3rd.
He further mentioned that there are more than 2000 letter-sorting post offices and around 7800 letters sorting staff and through them, these tasks are being carried out.
