The Ministry of Trade has decided to close ‘Sathosa’ which is continuously making losses. A senior official of the Ministry of Trade said that it has been proposed to liquidate ‘Sathosa’ and transfer its assets to Lanka Sathosa and that discussions are being held with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor regarding the liquidation of Sathosa and its employees.
