A car bomb exploded in Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province. According to a statement issued by the Afghan Taliban government, two other police officers including the state inspector general were killed in the car bomb.
The bombing took place in front of the Badakhshan police headquarters. It is also said that two others were injured in the explosion. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
It is suspected that ‘IS’ terrorists, who are going against the Afghan Taliban, may have carried out the attack. (Reuters)
