A violent blizzard swept across America. Three people were killed in the avalanche. The country’s news services say that the snowstorm blew from the eastern states to the southern states.
A mother and a son are said to be among the three dead. That was when their home in Louisiana was caught in the storm. Schools were also closed as meteorologists warned of the blizzard.
Along with the blizzard, heavy snowfall was also reported from many major cities. 3,300 flights were cancelled. The number of cancelled flights is more than 150. Media reports also indicate that many cities have been covered with 4 feet of snow.
