The Ministry of Electricity and Energy says that it has been decided to introduce a tourist fuel pass system for tourists coming to Sri Lanka.

The ministry said that foreign tourists will be able to get fuel according to their needs, apart from the existing fuel quota system in the country.

It is convenient to visit any Sampath Bank branch across the island and purchase the travel fuel pass in any foreign currency.

The Ministry of Power and Energy further stated that they will also have the convenience of getting fuel easily from over 300 Ceypetco and Ceypetco and Ceylon IOC petrol stations across the island.
