The third and final ODI between the visiting Sri Lankan team and the host New Zealand is currently being played. Accordingly Sri Lanka, who won the toss of the match and batted first, scored only 157 runs at the end of 41 overs.
In batting, Pathum Nissanka scored 57 runs, captain Dasun Shanaka scored 31 runs and Chamika Karunaratne scored 24 runs for the Sri Lankan team and none of the other batsmen could cross the 10-run mark. New Zealand’s target for victory is 158 runs.
