Central Bank Governor Dr Nandalal Weerasinghe says that many decisive measures had to be taken to prevent the uncontrolled rise of inflation. Accordingly, the central bank governor stated that the inflation which reached a maximum of 70% has now reached the level of 30% and it is guaranteed that the inflation will reach a single value in the fourth quarter of this year or earlier.
Central Bank Governor Dr Nanndalal Weerasinghe stated this while attending a conference organized by the International Labor Organization (ILO).
