A private technology company in the United States joined with NASA to land the lunar probe ‘Odysseus’ on the moon.
Although the spacecraft successfully landed on the moon, it has now rolled onto its side. However, Steve Altemas, the owner of Intuitive Machines, a private company in Houston, Texas, which owns the plane, has said that the plane is working very well.
Although it was 52 years ago that the American agency NASA intervened and landed a lunar probe on the moon, this is the first time that a private company has sent a spacecraft to the moon.
Steve Altemas has said in the media that he is trying to get pictures from the ‘Odysseus’ moon plane which has turned over. (BBC)
