The Meegoda police say that a three-and-a-half-year-old child died when three rickshaws collided at Godagama Junction at around 1.30 this morning. The deceased was a child named Abiru Kesara, a Madulava area resident.
The mother, father and brother of the deceased child who was injured in the accident have been admitted to Homagama Base Hospital.
The accident happened while he went to his house in Madulava from Nugegoda. Meegoda police are conducting investigations. (Lankadeepa)
