It has been decided to close the northern railway line from Anuradhapura to Vavuniya for five months due to renovations.
Accordingly, the Minister of Transport, Highways and Mass Media Dr Bandula Gunawardena stated that the railway line will be closed for a period of five months from January 5, 2023.
