President Ranil Wickremesinghe has stated that he plans to complete the debt restructuring process by September to solve Sri Lanka’s debt problem. The President has stated that in cooperation with the Parliament, a comprehensive strategic program is being prepared to solve the debt crisis that the country is currently facing, where debt restructuring is a priority, and his primary focus is on completing important structural reforms.
The President mentioned this while joining a discussion with the former Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper.
