Member of Parliament Patali Champika Ranawaka says that steps will be taken to form a new political party in May. Speaking to the media in the Badulla area, the member of parliament mentioned that the party has been named as “United Republic Front”.
He further stated that there is a need for a political movement based on ability, and there should be an end to the politics of family rule or family inheritance.
