A mysterious spherical object with a diameter of 1.5 meters has washed up on the beach of Hamamatsu, Japan. It has not yet been revealed what the object is.

The spherical object was first seen by a few townspeople who came to the beach in the morning. They informed the city authorities and the police.

The police and army arrived and made the beach a no-go zone for people. That is because the spherical object was also suspected to be an unexploded bomb that was kept at sea and used during World War II. A bomb disposal team also came to inspect it.

An X-ray examination revealed that there was nothing inside the spherical object. The spherical object is also said to have two ‘handles’. That means it could be connected to something, police later said. (Reuters)
