Astronomers of the European Space Agency have succeeded in finding a habitable planet with the same size as Earth. Scientists from the European Space Agency, who have discovered this new planet, also say they are teaming up with NASA in the United States. European scientists have named this planet ‘Gliese 12b‘.
Astronomers have discovered Earth-like planets before, but Gliese 12b is said to be the most habitable planet. They have estimated that the surface temperature of ‘Gliese 12B’ can be around 42 degrees Celsius.
This new planet is 40 light years away from Earth. Scientists further explain that the new planet orbits a star in the planetary system it belongs to every 12.8 days.
