A giant asteroid with a diameter of 310 km passed by the Earth last (14) Valentine’s Day.
Named as ‘2024 BR4‘, this asteroid was discovered for the first time on January 30. The asteroid passed by the Earth at a distance of 4.6 million km.
Although scientists fear that if the trajectory of the asteroid changes, it may collide with the Earth and cause great destruction, NASA scientists in the United States have assured that this will not happen. (Reuters)
