The generator that had been disabled at the Norochcholai coal plant is scheduled to start generating electricity again today (08).
The Ceylon Electricity Board had taken steps to disable one of the generators of the Norochcholai power plant on the 23rd of last month.
The Electricity Board further stated that so far two ships with 60,000 metric tons of coal each have arrived on the island.
