Sakwithi Ranasinghe has admitted that he is guilty of running an illegal financial institution.
The court sentenced him to 22 years of hard labor and the Colombo High Court issued an order suspending it for 5 years.
Accordingly, he will not be imprisoned and if he commits such an offense during the relevant period, the suspended prison sentence will be implemented.
