Kotalawala Defense University, Dr Neville Fernando Hospital, Lyceum Campus and universities in Colombo, Kalutara, Gampaha, Kurunegala and Polonnaruwa districts are used as teaching hospitals to provide clinical training to medical students enrolled in the districts of Colombo so as not to interfere with the clinical training of medical students in state universities. President Ranil Wickramasinghe has decided to appoint a committee to identify suitable government hospitals. (Divaina)
