Electricity and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says that with the implementation of the tariff revision of the Electricity Board, the current power cuts will be stopped from today. He mentioned that while attending a press conference held a few hours ago.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe has also instructed the Minister of Power and Energy and related officials to implement the tariff revision of the Electricity Board approved by the Public Utilities Commission, to ensure a continuous supply of electricity to electricity consumers.
The President has also instructed to provide relief to low-income families and to provide solar panels to religious places and government educational institutions.
