Talangama Police say that a dead body of an unknown man was found floating in Diyawanna Oya in the Talangama “Kimbula Ala” area this evening. The police say that the man may be around 45 years old. According to a message received from the Parliament Police, the dead body was found.
The police said that the deceased was wearing a pink shirt and black long pants. The police say that there is doubt whether he went fishing and fell. Hokandara South Coroner Mrs ALA Premalatha who came to the place where the dead body was, after examining the dead body, and identifying the relatives, ordered that it be deposited in the police mortuary for post-mortem examination.
