The Minister of Justice has decided to appoint a committee to recommend measures to be taken regarding elderly inmates in prison.
The minister also says that steps have been taken to follow a lenient policy regarding the elderly and inmates suffering from critical illnesses.
The Minister of Justice further said that the collection of information regarding such persons has been started and several sub-committees have been appointed for that purpose.
