Under the system of giving money later, printing work is done in all government institutions, but due to a circular issued recently, the printing work in government institutions has become a problem, political sectors point out.
In a circular issued recently by the Ministry of Finance, the heads of institutions have been instructed not to act on the basis of giving money later. Accordingly, it had become problematic for the government printing press to carry out printing work related to the local government elections.
Under that situation, all the printing works of the Parliament and every other institution from the leave application form will be done on a post-payment basis.
It is reported that due to the situation, the printing work of all the government institutions including the Parliament has become a crisis. (Lankadeepa)
