It has been decided to suspend the water supply for 15 hours tomorrow (29) due to the suspension of the electricity supply to the Ambatale water treatment plant due to essential renovation work and due to the maintenance work of the water treatment system being carried out simultaneously. Accordingly, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that the water supply will be suspended from 9.00 am to 12.00 midnight.
Water supply is to be suspended for 15 hours in Colombo, Dehiwala, Mt. Kotte, Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, Boralasgamuwa, Kolonnawa Municipal Council areas, Kotikawatta, Mulleria Regional Council areas. It is also reported that water is being supplied under low-pressure conditions to Moratuwa Municipality.
