07 Sri Lankan actors won the best actor award at the Hanoi International Film Festival in Vietnam.
These actors won the award at Vietnam’s 6th Hanoi International Film Awards. It was for their performance in the film Maria directed by Aruna Jayawardena.
Actors Mahendra Perera, Hemal Ranasinghe, Ashan Dias, Priyantha Sirikumara, Dasun Pathirana and Suran Dissanayake won the award.
Also, it is extraordinary that actor Darshan Dharmaraj, who passed away recently, is also among those 07 actors.
One hundred and twenty-three films representing 50 countries were presented for the Hanoi Film Festival. (ITN News)
