Cabinet has approved the proposal presented by the minister to implement the recommendations of the committee to provide leave without pay to public servants who are entitled to pensions.
In the cabinet meeting held on 13th June last, a committee was appointed to make recommendations regarding the provision of local leave for the maximum of 05 years to the public servants who are entitled to a pension, so as not to harm the seniority.
Accordingly, the proposal submitted by the Prime Minister as the Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs to implement the recommendations of the relevant committee has been approved by the Cabinet.
