The Sri Lankan women managed to win 5th place in the 2023 Central Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship. In order to win fifth place, the Sri Lankan players won the match against Kyrgyzstan easily by 3-0.
The Sri Lankan women who participated in five matches throughout the tournament lost in the first two matches and then performed well by winning all three matches. Sri Lanka previously managed to defeat Bangladesh and Maldives in this tournament.
First round: 25-11 points
Second round: 25-20 points
Third round: 25-14 points
