Jordan, Israel’s neighbour, has decided that it will not sign the agreement to provide energy to Israel in exchange for drinking water from Israel.
Jordan has been at loggerheads with Israel, protesting Israel’s targeting of Hamas militants and the loss of innocent Palestinian Muslim lives in its attacks on the Gaza Strip.
We have started many regional projects with Israel. And it is scheduled to start. We decided to suspend all of that because of the Israel-Hamas war.” Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has said while speaking with Al Jazeera news service.
