Dylan Mahen Gunaratne of Sri Lankan origin, who is studying at Southwestern Law School in America, has been nominated for the award as the best law student in America in 2023. The graduation ceremony of ‘Southwestern Law School’ will be held on the 19th, and it is extraordinary that Dylan Mahen Gunaratne has been chosen to deliver a memorable speech for law students.
This is the first time that a Sri Lankan law student has been selected to deliver a special speech at Southwestern Law College. Born in Canada, Dylan Mahen Gunaratne’s parents are Sri Lankan. Dylan received his undergraduate degree from Cal State University, Los Angeles, USA.
After that, he worked with ‘YTV’ channel in Toronto, Canada. He entered Southwestern Law School, winning a scholarship worth US$75,000. (Lankadeepa)
