Veteran dramatist K.B. Herath passed away yesterday afternoon.
He was 82 years old when he died.
He came to the stage through “Sudu Karal” stage plays, contributed to “Mayadevi”, and “Jagan Ma” stage productions and has also worked as the screenwriter of many teledrama productions such as “Ingammaruwa” and Gajaman Nona etc. produced by Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation. (Divaina)
