Kanthi Gunathunga, one of the oldest actresses in Sinhala cinema, has passed away. She was 86 years old when she died. She passed away while receiving treatment in a private hospital in New Zealand. Kanthi Gunathunga, who made her acting debut through the movie Surangani, has starred in Dosthara, Duppathage Duka, Surasena, Suraya, and Sandeshaya, also for the film “Vana Mohini” she joined the cast.
