The Department of Meteorology announces that there may be rain or thundershowers at a few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces and Anuradhapura, Manuwara and Nuwara Eliya districts in the evening or at night.
The announcement further states that rain or thundershowers may occur at a few places in offshore areas from Mannar to Puttalam, Colombo and Galle to Matara during the night.
