The Department of Meteorology says that there may be some rain in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts today (21).
The department states that rain or thundershowers may occur in a few places in Uva province and Ampara and Batticaloa districts in the evening or at night.
The Department of Meteorology requests that people take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
