The Department of Meteorology announces that some rain may occur in the northern and eastern coastal areas.
The announcement states that in the Central Province and Badulla, Ratnapura, Galle and Matara districts there may be rain or thundershowers in a few places in the evening or at night.
The announcement further states that there is mainly rainless weather on the rest of the island.
