President’s lawyer Saliya Piris, who served as the president of the Sri Lanka Bar Association, resigned from that position yesterday (24). Accordingly, posting a note on his Facebook account, he states that he has always made great efforts to act for the good of the profession in accordance with the respectable values of the profession.
Kaushalya Navaratne was recently elected as the new President of the Sri Lanka Bar Association.
