The Colombo Grand Mosque has announced that it will start its Ramadan fasting season from today (12). Accordingly, the Great Church announced that the new moon was seen yesterday (11).
Fasting is one of the five fundamental principles of Islam, and Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset every day during Ramadan.
