The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has issued a statement stating that it has been decided to triple the match fees paid for the players of the Sri Lanka Women’s National Cricket Team.
Accordingly, the amount of US$ 250 paid to a player for a limited-overs match has been increased by US$ 500 to US$ 750. This decision was taken in the Sri Lanka Cricket Executive Committee meeting held on the 31st and the salary increase will be effective from February 1.
And for every match won by the Sri Lanka women’s team (in bilateral tournaments or international tournaments), one player will also receive an additional amount of US$ 250.
