The Department of Motor Traffic says that official license cards will be issued to people who have been issued temporary driving licenses from Monday, November 14.
Accordingly, the Commissioner General of the Motor Traffic Department Nishantha Weerasinghe stated that the official driving license cards will be delivered to the owners by post.
As official driving license cards could not be issued, arrangements were made to issue temporary licenses to around 6 lakh people.
