According to Police Media Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Mr Nihal Talduwa, the millionaire businessman who fled to Dubai after a car accident in Kollupitiya was arrested last night (12) at Katunayake Airport.
The suspect arrived in Sri Lanka at around 9.55 last night. According to the flight ban imposed against him, the suspects were arrested by the port authorities.
A resident of Maradana Devanam Piyatissa Mawatha has been arrested.
The suspect has been handed over to Kollupitiya police.
The three-wheeler driver was killed when he was travelling in Kollupitiya with a group of suspects after drinking alcohol and was unable to control the speed of the vehicle.
Then the suspect left his car on the spot and ran away.
