The Mattakuliya Police has launched an inquiry into an unidentified male body discovered on the shore of Crow Island on Saturday (28).
The unknown body was discovered after the Mattakkuliya Police got a tip.
According to the police, the deceased is believed to be roughly 38 years old and 5 feet 7 inches tall.
The victim was also described as wearing orange pants and a black top.
The man’s identification has yet to be determined, and his body has been taken to the Colombo National Hospital for a post-mortem investigation. (NW)
