According to the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation, the Russian airline Aeroflot will resume operations in Sri Lanka from October 9.
Accordingly, flights between Moscow and Katunayake are scheduled to start again.
A controversial situation arose between the two countries due to a lawsuit filed preventing an Aeroflot flight from leaving Sri Lanka, where Russia suspended flights between Moscow and Katunayake.
