Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera and State Ministers DV Chanaka and Indika Anuruddha have participated in the inspection of Yugadanavi and Sobadanavi power plants.
With the collapse of the Norochcholai power plant, this oil plant is fully operational to generate electricity for the national system.
A Twitter message issued by the minister states that the Sobadanavi Power Plant will be operational from next year.
