Hugh Jackman returns to the gym to reclaim his X-Men persona The Wolverine’s strong physique. Hugh Jackman’s reappearance as Wolverine in the forthcoming Deadpool 3 shocked Marvel fans to no end. In anticipation, Jackman went to Instagram and posted a snapshot and a video of himself working out.

In the very first X-Men film, which came out more than twenty years ago, Hugh Jackman debuted as Wolverine. Despite receiving plaudits for his performance, Jackman has later admitted that he had little time to prepare. This explains why his body isn’t as stunning as it will eventually be. Jackman has now performed the part several times, working tirelessly to bring the Marvel superhero to life in each performance. He frequently tops lists of notable physical changes.

Jackman, 53, posted a clip of his achievements along with the caption “And so it begins” on social media, indicating that he wishes to carry on this legacy.

Hugh Jackman’s return to the role of Wolverine in Deadpool 3 was unexpectedly announced last week when Ryan Reynolds abruptly released a video on Twitter. A video that, as they say, “broke the internet.” Since then, Reynolds and Jackman have made joint appearances to respond to inquiries about how Wolverine would make a comeback and whether this will affect his flawless ending in the 2017 film Logan.

Reynolds starts by saying, “You have questions. “Yes. I had a lot of questions”, Jackman continues. “But rest assured, we’re going to answer them right now.”

“Like for example, how is Wolverine alive after Logan?” Jackman goes on. “Logan takes place in 2029. Totally separate thing. Logan died in Logan. Not touching that,” Reynolds replies, assuring Logan fans that they can breathe a sigh of relief.

The two actors act out a battle between Deadpool and Wolverine after previewing what’s to come (you don’t really hear anything since Wham’s peppy 1984 song Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go kicks in for a massive Deadpool-style troll move). “Thank you, Kevin Feige,” Reynolds ends, and Jackman adds, “Love you, Kevin Feige.” Thank you, MCU.”

Although the story of Deadpool 3 is still unknown, it is becoming more and more plausible that Wolverine and Deadpool will go on a road trip in the sequel. Ryan Reynolds seems to have divulged something last year.

The creator of Deadpool, Rob Liefeld, later said that this is also what he has heard would happen when the two link up in 2024. “Bob Hope and Bing Crosby on the road.” “I believe that’s what we’re going to get,” said the legendary comic book creator. Perhaps it’s more akin to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Sundance Kid was more serious, but Butch Cassidy was more of a con guy. And, considering the presence of Danny Glover and Mel Gibson, it may be more akin to Lethal Weapon. But somewhere in the midst of the samples I just gave you. Butch and Sundance; Bing and Bob; Hugh and Ryan; Newman/Redford It will, without a doubt, be a monster.”

Deadpool 3, directed by Shawn Levy, written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, will now be released on September 6, 2024. (Movieweb)
