The National Transport Commission says that steps will be taken to install GPS devices for all inter-provincial bus services. Nilan Miranda, Director General of the Commission stated that 1/3 of the already registered buses have been fitted with the relevant equipment. He further said that with this, it will be possible to monitor how long the buses are parked at the bus stations.
