Minister of Education Dr Susil Premajayantha says that he is working hard to free children from the stress of having to memorize subject knowledge for years and face exams.
The minister states that the existing examination-centred pattern of education should be changed through an education transformation that goes beyond education reforms.
The minister states that this transformative change should take place from preschool through the school classroom and the wider the space to curiously observe the environment in the preschool, the more children should have the opportunity to engage in exploratory independent education by asking questions and pursuing sources of knowledge in the classroom.
The minister further stated that it is possible to create effective creations for society by combining universal knowledge in the university by engaging in primary and secondary education.
