Central Bank Governor Dr Nandalal Weerasinghe says that the main expectation of the new year is to bring down inflation and stabilize the country economically.
According to this, the central bank governor stated that the inflation is currently decreasing after visiting the Malwatu and Asgiri Maha Nayaka Theras while speaking to the media.
He further stated that it is hoped that inflation will further decrease and the country’s interest rates will further decrease and the people and everyone will be able to strengthen the program to restore the country’s economy in some way.
