The Department of Immigration and Emigration says that requests for obtaining dual citizenship have increased in 2022.
Accordingly, it is stated that 5,401 people have submitted requests for obtaining dual citizenship in 2022, and most of them are living in Australia, and the number is 1,621.
The Department of Immigration and Emigration further stated that 885 people from the United Kingdom, 795 people from America, 371 people from Canada and several other countries have requested for dual citizenship.
