Minister of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Vidura Wickramanayake says that the agreement will be signed today (28) for the return to Sri Lanka of valuable archaeological artefacts taken by them during the Dutch rule in Sri Lanka.

According to a request made by the Ministry of Buddha Sasana from the Netherlands, they have expressed their agreement to provide the archaeological items.

Minister of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Vidura Wickramanayake further stated that the items with archaeological value brought from the Netherlands will be opened for public exhibition in the future.
