Dr Deepal Perera, a paediatrician at Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital in Borella, says that due to the extremely hot weather these days, the tendency of school students to get some diseases has increased.
He requested to take necessary measures to prevent children from getting sick due to extreme heat.
The Ministry of Education also issued a series of special instructions regarding the protection of school students from adverse conditions that may arise in the face of extremely hot weather conditions.
