The Electricity Board says that one of the generators at the Norochcholai coal plant has been switched off from today (23) onwards due to maintenance work.
It is stated that the lost electricity will be covered by other sources.
Therefore, there will be no change in the current 2 hours and 20 minutes daily power cut, said the Sri Lanka Electricity Board.
