1. Biscuit Crumb Cookies
Materials needed:
- 2 cups of biscuit powder
- 1 1/4 cups of flour
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of fresh milk
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
Method
- Take a big bowl and add biscuit powder, flour, sugar, salt powder, baking powder, and cocoa powder and mix well.
- Then add fresh milk, eggs, vanilla and vegetable oil to it. Mix well.
- Next, take a tray and take a spoonful of the mixture prepared earlier and put it in the tray. Press it a little with a spoon. Bake at 180°C for 10-12 minutes.
2. Banana Biscuit Pudding
Materials needed:
- 4 cups of biscuit powder
- 1 mashed banana
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup fresh milk
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of clove powder
- 1/2 cup raisins
Method
- First, preheat the oven to 180°C. Meanwhile, take a bowl and add bananas, apple sauce, eggs, fresh milk and honey to it and mix well until a thick batter is formed.
- Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves and mix well. Now add biscuit powder to it and mix. Add raisins to this, cover well and bake for about 30 minutes. Can also be steamed.
3. Biscuit Crumb Almond Balls
Materials needed:
1 cup of biscuit powder
Egg whites 2
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
1 cup chopped almonds
Method
- First, preheat the oven to 180°C. Beat the eggs well until they become white and stiff.
- Now add brown sugar and maple syrup to it. Mix well. Now add almond and biscuit powder to it and mix well.
- Make small balls out of this mixture and spread it on the cooking sheet. Finally, bake it for about 20 minutes.
4. Biscuit Crumb Cake
Materials needed:
- 2 cups of biscuit powder
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 tablespoon of milk powder
- 1 cup bread flour
- 2 cups of fresh milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- A few cashews
Method
- Take a bowl and add biscuit powder and bread flour to it and mix well. Then add sugar, baking powder, baking soda and milk powder and mix well.
- Take a separate bowl and add fresh milk and vanilla to it and mix well. Now add the biscuit powder mixture made earlier. Mix well with a spatula. Put this on a baking tray.
- Sprinkle some cashews on top. Now bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
5. Deep Fried Biscuit Crumb Balls
Materials needed:
- 1 cup of biscuit powder
- Skimmed milk 500g
- Cashew nuts 100g
- 7 tablespoons of Rulang
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- Salt powder to taste
Method
- Take a bowl and add half of the evaporated milk, rulang (රුලං), butter and biscuit powder and mix well. Add sugar, salt powder and egg to it. Mix well and leave for 30 minutes.
- Then make small balls from the mixture. Put some cashew nuts in the middle and make balls.
- Finally, dip the rest of the biscuits in the powder and fry in deep oil until golden.
6. Biscuit Crumb Halwa
Materials needed:
- 2 cups of biscuit powder
- 1 tablespoon of ghee
- A few chopped almonds
- Few chopped cashew nuts
- 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- Some fresh milk
Method
- Put ghee in a pan and let it heat. Add cashews and almonds to it. Next, add biscuit powder.
- Stir well and roast. Then add powdered sugar to it. Mix well again.
- Add fresh milk little by little and turn off the stove when it becomes slightly creamy. Serve hot.
7. Sooji with Biscuit Crumb
Materials needed:
- 10g of butter
- 1 finely chopped onion
- A handful of raisins
- About 15 almonds
- 1 cup of biscuit powder
- 5 cups of water
- cardamom
- cinnamon
- 315 ml of tincture
Method
- Put a pan on the stove and put butter in it and let it heat. Add chopped onions to it and fry until golden.
- Then add raisins and almonds and fry again. Add biscuit powder to it.
- Stir well and temper. Now add water. Add cardamom and cinnamon and mix well.
- When it is cooked well, add the tincture.
- Mix well. Once cooked well, remove from heat. Add some chopped almonds on top.
